Art Quilt Challenge

Twenty girls from The Fabric Art Studio are participating in a year long project, producing a 12inch/30.5cm square wall hanging quilt every 2 months. Every 2 months there is a new subject which has been chosen by one of the participants.

The quilts will always be displayed in the same order, that is alphabetical by the first name of the maker.

By definition, a quilt is 3 layers stitched together and the quilts can be made from any material, although we assume fabric will be the main material, and any method or technique can be used. The quilts should be "finished" but need not have a traditional binding.

The participants are keeping records of each quilt, telling the story of why they've chosen to express themselves as they have, and recorded some information about the journey of the making of each quilt.
